Responsible and concious packaging
< span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">To use the term environmentally friendly packaging, there are many parameters to take into account. Firstly, the materials must be environmentally friendly, they must be produced under proper conditions for people and the environment, and they must be transported separately; as little as possible. In addition, it is about compressing the packaging as much as possible, so you don't transport unnecessary air.
Today, your customers expect that you in your store or webshop focus on the environment, and uses so environmentally friendly packaging as possible. It is of course best to reuse the packaging your goods were originally delivered in. But, it cannot always be done, and especially is it necessary to buy new packaging once in a while. Recycled plastic
One place where our range has changed is onå plastic bags. Today, most of our plastic carrier bags are made from recycled plastic. a Danish factory. På in this way, the plastic is used again and again. The factory collects recycled plastic and transforms it into new plastic bags, which in turn can be reused if they are properly sorted in the plastic container. Recycled plastic doesn't have to be boring. We have exclusive gift ribbons made from recycled plastic from recycled plastic bottles that have been collected in the Asian rivers. Resolvable packaging
One of the most well-known ways to certify sustainable packaging are the labeling schemes FSC and PEFC. FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council and PEFC for the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. Both are non-profit organizations that ensure responsible forestry. If you choose packaging such as cardboard boxes, letter boxes, flower paper and gift paper that is FSC or PEFC certified, then are you sure that it is a sustainable solution. Recyclable Packaging
By using reusable packaging, you also something good for the environment. It requires the packaging to be of good quality to be able to be reused. Thin plastic bags known as ”crack bags” is now prohibited because it is better for the environment to use a strong paper bag or plastic bag. These can be used many times, whereas the thin bags were thrown away after a single use.
Reusable gift wrap, which only gets better with repeated use, is one of the latest new products at the shelf here at Karl Lund. It is paper that has been waxed, soå it is durable and can be reused many times. It is available in beautiful colors and is also approved for food contact.
