The Bag Lady's brown paper

Today I want to talk a little about our brown wrapping paper; a single product which is quite brilliant for wrapping many different things.

Brown paper for flowers

Most often, the brown paper is used for wrapping flowers. The brown background makes the beautiful colors of the bouquets stand out without taking the attention away from the flowers, and if it's freezing weather, the brown floral paper also protects the flowers from wilting in the cold.

If you want to make the wrapping a little more festive, you can add a sheet of tissue paper in a color that matches the flowers and then finish with a piece of gift ribbon or string in the same color. A label with your logo or a logo stamp directly on the paper will complete your flower wrapping. The brown floral paper is available in both sheets and rolls, so you can choose the one that best suits your counter. Regardless of the format, our brown paper is PEFC certified, which means it comes from responsible forestry.

Brown wrapping paper for webshops

If you want a more raw alternative to tissue paper as wrapping in your webshop, try the brown wrapping paper. With its striped paper structure, it gives a rustic look to your shipments. It is easy to wrap in because it is extra strong, and it provides greater protection for your goods when they are to be sent than ordinary tissue paper.

The advantage of this brown paper is that you can easily have a logo printed on it using a logo stamp. It also looks a bit crude. You can see price examples of logo

Brown paper for packages

The brown paper has historically been used for wrapping packages. In the old days, a piece of twine was often tied around and finished with a support stick like Herr Schwan in Damernes Magasin, when Miss Møhge had bought lace and had to have it delivered home.

However, you can still use the brown wrapping paper for webshop packages, and we have shame carrying pins in stock if you want to go to Damernes Magasin in the beds. Find them here.
